"Stupid shoes" are another no-no.  Stupid shoes?

• Shoes that don't "go" with the outfit
• Shoes that are too "comfortable"
• Shoes that are "sensible"
• Over-priced sports shoes -- Oh yea, that's all of them
• Flip-flops anywhere but at the pool or beach
• Any shoes bought at "Payless"
• Any Bata shoes
• All orthopedic shoes
• All Birkenstocks
• All platforms
• All clogs
• All crocs
• Specialty running shoes that you only wear for.........whatever
• All wedgies, every single one of them
• All mid-high pumps
• All men's shoes with that too-long, squared-off toe

I am sure more ugly varieties should be on the list, but you get the idea.  So, basically what most people get wrong are the tops of their beings and the bottoms:  hair and shoes.
