Just saved $700!

Good old Cochrane!  My rear taillight was out, so I took it in for a quote.  Naturally, you practically have to replace the entire car, not just the bulb, which meant the whole thing was going to cost $1,200 -- which is outrageous!  "But I'm going to call around and see if I can source it somewhere else," said James, the garage owner.

You can't replace just the bulb, you have to get a whole new unit!  That little piece of nothing costs $1,200!!

The darling young man just called and told me he had found a certified unit for $500, so I just saved $700 bucks!!  That's what a lot of little Mom-and-Pop garages do in this town, actually try to help the customer.  Naturally, I'm thrilled!  He also gave me a work order to keep in the glove compartment, so in case I get pulled over I can show I'm on it and hopefully avoid a ticket.  What a great place!

I have also contracted with a local landscaping company to have our grass cut front and back once a week, so things are getting organized around here!

Now, if it would just warm up a little..........sigh.........
