I am thinking of getting off facebook. I originally joined when my kids were younger and away at school, just so I could keep track of them. Now, I think it's a complete waste of time and brains. People post pictures of puppies and kittens and coffee and everyone "likes" the posts. Post something serious and no one hits an icon!
Why is that?
Take today. I posted a picture of our juvenile PM posing with a gaggle of porn stars. I then talked about how his wife had vanished in the wake of his "groping" fiasco and yet no one had anything to say about it?? This incident is serious, folks, but no one seems to be bothered by the fact that our boy/king is giving himself a "hall pass" -- in spite of the fact that he's ruined the lives, marriages and careers of two MPs who someone said had had consensual sex with them.

My step-daughter posts selfies of everything-all-the-time. I don't get that?! I mean, live your life, don't "selfie" it. Doesn't stopping everything to take a selfie actually spoil the moment? Is it that if you don't "selfie" it, it didn't happen?
