The kiss

Maybe it's me, but what's the big, international deal about the Spanish coach kissing a player in celebration when the team won the World Cup in Sydney?  

Luis Rubiales rushed up to Jenni Hermoso and kissed her.  The issue everyone has is because it was on the mouth.  He should have been a little to the left or right, but seriously, what's the issue?  To me, it was a moment of euphoria and he got carried away.  Latin people kiss each other all the time over everything.

The way the press is covering it, you'd think he'd raped her.  Here's the kiss:

The hue and cry is completely over-the-top, in my view.  Hermoso said she hadn't given permission.  OMG!  They won the cup, he rushed up to congratulate her, but first he should have asked permission?   Ludicrous.

The latest in the whole woke jungle is that British Airways has changed it's recorded greeting.  It used to be, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard British Airways flight....."  Apparently, people who identify neither as women nor men are claiming they're offended, so the airline has changed the greeting!

It's also now OK for men, who identify as women, to play on women's sports teams.  How do you handle the locker room?  Women are told to just turn away.  What a mess the woke have made of everything  - just bed-wetters running on quinoa.  

And don't get me started on gender pronouns!  

It's all so wrong and messed up, but, as I said, it's probably just me.
