So, the minister of women (or something), Maryam Monsef, reached out to the Taliban, calling them "our brothers". WTF?! Of course, she is from Afghanistan, so is part of the problem -- not the solution.
She went on to clarify that..."in our culture, we call each other brother and sister." See, Maryam, that's the problem. You live in Canada and are a Minister of the Crown, so your "culture" is not in Afghanistan. It's here. It's in Canada. She's another female that should be fired, along with Hadju, Freeland, Tam and a bunch of others. But our "feminist" PM will never do it. Never.
Guess she forgot that Canada has officially declared the Taliban a terrorist entity. They are not our "brothers", Maryam. The problem is that she, along with others, bring their "culture" to Canada. This is wrong. I mean, sure, have cultural festivals, but do not try to twist our official Canadian culture into yours. And by the way, Maryam, Canadians should not know the religion of a secular politician or minister. This is the principle of the separation of Church and State, but thanks to your gaffs, we know you are a Muslim. We must not. Same goes for Singh.
Frankly, I am getting sick of the whole mess in Afghanistan. Canada knew this was going to happen, yet did nothing. And why did people flock there in the first place? Now they can't get out and expect the rest of us to jump in and save them. I think the military is sabotaging Trudeau for his mess with all the sex charges. He's getting it back in spades.
So far, Canada has managed to get about 2,000 people out of Afghanistan. Not quite the 21,000 they promised. No, about 19,000 short. Great job! Canada has been destroyed. It's so sad for our grandchildren.
