That's what we will be handing over to the natives for having had the gall to educate their children.

It was originally $27 billion, but apparently that eye-watering sum wasn't enough.  It's now an astronomical sum and it's an outrage.  My question is why?  Why are they entitled to almost half a trillion dollars because we built boarding schools for their education?!  As I have said, every, single Indigenous leader and spokesman went to one, otherwise they would have remained on the reserve and illiterate.

Where in Gawd's name is the money going to come from???!!!!  From us, our children and our grandchildren.  That's where.  They will be hobbled, thanks to the HUGE debt the incompetent Liberals have saddled us with for generations.  As for the people who keep voting them in, what is wrong with you??!!!

And just to show their appreciation, chiefs stood with their backs to Pierre Poilievre when he addressed the AFN yesterday.  The guy hasn't even been sworn in as prime minister and they're already giving him the backs of their heads.  I hope he nails them when his time in office comes.

The media is full of speculation about whether or not Freeland will be given the boot as finance minister because she "has not communicated the government's budget positively".  I can't stand the woman, but what was positive to communicate?  I smell the hand of Katie Telford in this one and make no mistake, if it comes down to a cat fight between Telford and Freeland, Telford takes it every time.  

The next Liberal leader, maybe.

Now they're knocking on Mark Carney's door begging him to take the portfolio.  Why would the guy ever join Trudeau in the massive defeat that's coming his way?  That would kill his chances of ever becoming leader.  He'd go right down the toilet like the rest of them.  Makes me wonder why respected columnists like John Ivison even contemplate the notion?

On another insane note, Fredericton's gay pride parade organizers have invited a pro-Palestinian group to participate.  And not just to participate, but 'Fredericton Palestine Solidarity' will be front and centre as parade marshals in full regalia, complete with flags and keffiyehs!  

I'm sorry, but gay parades have gotten way out over their skis these days.  Originally, they celebrated gays, then they morphed into porn shows, with people gyrating in thongs on every float, and now they're jumping with both feet into politics.  

Wisely, the Lt.-Gov. Brenda Murphy, Canada's first openly-gay viceregal, has said she won't be part of it this year.  "Her Honour firmly opposes the oppression of all marginalized groups.  She values inclusion and supports the guiding principle that Pride is for everyone," her office said.  Instead, she's holding a garden party at Government House.  Good for her.

Frankly, marginalization is no longer an issue for gays in Western society, but I support her decision.  To think that the Monarch's representative to Canada would be seen on a float with bikini-clad gays, pirouetting and reeling in keffiyehs, is an outrage.
