That's where the President of the United States has just placed himself. In the ghetto. How could he? In an effort to relate to the kid who was killed by a neighbourhood security guard -- in self defence, says the justice system -- Obama has now aligned himself with the victim. He has just disenfranchised all Americans who aren't black and downtrodden and revealed himself to be one.
How completely un-presidential. "Every black man in America has found himself in an elevator with a white woman who clutches her purse more tightly and can't wait to get off -- including me," said the President of the United States.
How dumb can you get? Believe me, he will never climb back up into the "presidential realm" with that remark. He has just revealed he is a "boy from the hood" with a chip on his shoulder. How dumb can you get?
A few days ago, he was praising the justice system for doing its job; now he is in the ghetto bemoaning the fact he feels inferior and put-upon because he is black.
What kind of President of the United States does that?! A decidedly un-presidential one.

Crime Rates:
•Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery.
•When blacks commit crimes of violence, they are nearly three times more likely than non-blacks to use a gun, and more than twice as likely to use a knife.
Interracial Crime:
•Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.
•Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against blacks. Forty-five percent of their victims are white, 43 percent are black, and 10 percent are
Hispanic. When whites commit violent crime, only three percent of their victims are
black.
•Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a white than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.
•Blacks are 2.25 times more likely to commit officially-designated hate crime against whites than vice versa.
Incarceration:
According to the US Bureau of Justice statistics, blacks accounted for 39.4% of the total prison and jail population in 2009.
According to the 2010 census of the US Census Bureau blacks (including Hispanic blacks) comprised just 13.6% of the US population.
So, Mr. President, it's nothing personal, simply the facts.
Wow, unbelievable. We don't have that kind of racism in Canada, as you know. Actually, I should have said "American blacks" because that's a very distinct culture. For example, our Parish has many Nigerians, all accomplished and extremely well-educated. As a matter of fact, am having several over for dinner this evening. I never see "colour" when I interact with them. Maybe it helps that Nigeria is a member of The Commonwealth, so shares so many "Canadian" values. I also never think of Ian Hanomansing as a man of colour because he is completely "Canadian". It's all cultural and revolves around values. The natives in this country probably have the same stats as American blacks. They do not see themselves as "Canadian" in any way, shape or form, so do not feel it necessary to obey the law.

Pamela Wallin is persona-non-grata here. She charged a ton of ineligible expenses to her Senate account and is currently under investigation. Criminal charges may be next.
